HOUSE BILL NO. 4163

AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO HILLARY IVY OF 1
NESHOBA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and 4
completely restored to Hillary Ivy of Neshoba County, Mississippi, 5
who was disqualified as an elector as a result of her conviction 6
for False Pretenses in Clarke County, Mississippi. On December 7
14, 2016, she was sentenced to serve five (5) years probation 8
under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of 9
Corrections. 10
On January 24, 2022, she was released from probation. The 11
Legislature is informed that she has since conducted herself as a 12
law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner. 13
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 14
and after its passage. 15
