HOUSE BILL NO. 4181

AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO HILLARY IVY OF 1
NESHOBA COUNTY. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and 4
completely restored to Hillary Ivy of Neshoba County, Mississippi, 5
who was disqualified as an elector as a result of her conviction 6
for the crime of False Pretense on December 14, 2016, in Clarke 7
County, for which she was sentenced to serve five (5) years under 8
the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. 9
She was released from probation on January 24, 2022. The 10
Legislature is informed that she has since conducted herself as a 11
law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner. 12
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 13
and after its passage. 14
