HOUSE BILL NO. 475

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARDS OF SUPERVISORS 1
OF LEE AND MONROE COUNTIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDING 2
FOR THE NATURAL RESOURCE CAMP PILOT PROGRAM IN THOSE COUNTIES FOR 3
THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Boards of Supervisors of 8
Lee and Monroe counties for the purpose of providing funding for 9
the Natural Resource Camp pilot program in those counties created 10
under House Bill No. , 2026 Regular Session, for the fiscal year 11
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.................. 12

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 14
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 15
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 16
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his 17
warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or 18
officers in the manner provided by law. 19
