AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE A SIGN OR SIGNS TO BE ERECTED ON 1
INTERSTATE-10 AND MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 63 NORTH IN JACKSON COUNTY, 2
MISSISSIPPI, TO HONOR TWO-TIME U.S. MEN'S BASKETBALL OLYMPIC GOLD 3
MEDALIST AND MOSS POINT HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, DEVIN BOOKER; AND 4
FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. (1) On Interstate-10 in Jackson County, 7
Mississippi, where the east and west exit entrances are located 8
into the incorporated limits of Moss Point and, additionally, on 9
the north entrance into the incorporated limits of Moss Point 10
located on Hwy 63 North exiting of Lucedale, George County, 11
Mississippi, shall be erected a sign or signs that reads as 12
follows: "Home of Devin Booker, 2020/2024 U.S. Men's Basketball 13
Olympic Gold Medalist, Moss Point High School Graduate." 14
(2) The sign or signs described in subsection (1) of this 15
section are to be erected in accordance with the Mississippi 16
Department of Transportation's permitting process and must be paid 17
for by Jackson County. 18
