HOUSE BILL NO. 799

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
HUMPHREYS COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
INFRASTRUCTURE AND SITE DEVELOPMENT AT THE HUMPHREYS COUNTY 3
INDUSTRIAL PARK FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 8
Humphreys County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs 9
associated with infrastructure and site development at the 10
Humphreys County Industrial Park located on Highway 49 for the 11
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 12
2027...............................................$ 1,500,000.00. 13
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 14
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 15
not otherwise appropriated upon warrants issued by the State 16
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 17
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 18
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 19

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 20
and after July 1, 2026. 21
