HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 133
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE EUPORA HIGH 1
SCHOOL EAGLES CHEERLEADERS AND CHEER COACHES JAMIE WALKER AND 2
KRISTY TINDALL ON WINNING THE 2025 MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL 3
ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION (MHSAA) 2A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. 4
WHEREAS, on December 13, 2025, with an unbelievable 5
performance surely to be remembered for years to come, the Eupora 6
High School Eagles Cheerleading Team reigned supreme when the 7
cheerleaders captured the 2025 Mississippi High School Activities 8
Association (MHSAA) 2A Game Day Division Cheer State Championship 9
at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi; and 10
WHEREAS, the Eupora Eagles' incredible state title solidified 11
the squad's high-performing reputation as a consistent program 12
known for its precise movements appearing effortless as the 13
athletically fit members of the team safely performed complex 14
routines as a single, cohesive unit throughout the season; and 15
WHEREAS, through the Eupora High School cheerleaders' 16
dedication and excellence in performance, members of the team have 17
demonstrated exceptional character and discipline, whether in the 18
classroom or on the sidelines or the mat, and have developed 19

unparalleled teamwork representing the highest standards of 20
sportsmanship and leadership through school spirit; and 21
WHEREAS, the extraordinary success of the Eupora High School 22
Eagles would not have been possible without the countless hours of 23
intense practice, positive attitudes and enthusiasm of each of the 24
following talented student-athletes who comprise the 2025 25
cheerleading squad: Chloe Bass, Gwendolyn Browder, Mallory 26
Collum, Gracie Dean, Caleigh Fason, Olivia Frank, Kinley Gilbert, 27
Emma Gray, Adalee Hardin, Swayze Hodges, Kinsley Huffman, Madison 28
Johnson, Brinkley Lee, Ansley Mason, Avery McCluskey, Taylor 29
Payton, Bentley Ray, Tinsley Richardson, Jamesha Rush, Cydney 30
Smith and Corinne Walker; and 31
WHEREAS, the cheerleaders have been superbly coached and 32
inspired by Cheer Coaches Jamie Walker and Kristy Tindall, who 33
together have combined their considerable talents and years of 34
experience to refine the squad's skills and precision in 35
execution; and 36
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to 37
recognize and honor the achievements of outstanding 38
student-athletes such as the Eupora High School Eagles 39
Cheerleaders, who have brought pride and honor to their families, 40
school, community and the State of Mississippi: 41
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 42
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby 43
commend and congratulate the Eupora High School Eagles 44

winning 2025 MHSAA 2A State Championship.
Cheerleaders and Cheer Coaches Jamie Walker and Kristy Tindall on 45
winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) 46
Class 2A Game Day Division Cheer State Championship and extend 47
best wishes for continued success in all their future athletic and 48
academic endeavors. 49
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be 50
furnished to the Eupora High School Eagles Cheerleading Team and 51
to the members of the Capitol Press Corps. 52
