HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 46

A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING ENTERPRISE HIGH 1
SCHOOL FOR ACHIEVING THE HIGHEST ACCOUNTABILITY SCORE IN THE STATE 2
OF MISSISSIPPI. 3
WHEREAS, Enterprise High School earned the highest 4
accountability score of all Mississippi high schools, ranking it 5
as the number one high school in the State of Mississippi; and 6
WHEREAS, on September 25, 2025, the Mississippi Department of 7
Education released the 2024–2025 accountability report, and in 8
this report, Enterprise High School earned the highest 9
accountability score of all Mississippi high schools, receiving a 10
score of 908 out of a possible 1,000 points; and 11
WHEREAS, located in Clarke County, Mississippi, Enterprise 12
High School serves approximately 250 students in Grades 9 through 13
12 and continues to demonstrate excellence in academics and 14
student success; and 15
WHEREAS, guided by Superintendent Marlon Brannan, Principal 16
John Welch, and Counselor Toni Cook, the mission of the Enterprise 17
School District is to graduate responsible, self-reliant 18

innovative citizens by providing ample, diverse and enriched 19
learning opportunities; and 20
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to 21
recognize outstanding academic institutions, especially those such 22
as Enterprise High School, whose excellence brings honor to the 23
Enterprise community and to the State of Mississippi: 24
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 25
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby 26
recognize and commend Enterprise High School for achieving the 27
highest accountability score in the State of Mississippi, and 28
extend best wishes for continued success in all its future 29
endeavors. 30
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be 31
furnished to Enterprise High School and to the members of the 32
Capitol Press Corps. 33
