AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO YAZOO COUNTY FOR THE 1
PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH DREAM INNOVATIONS, 2
INCORPORATED, PROGRAMS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to Yazoo County for the purpose 7
of defraying the costs associated with Dream Innovations, 8
Incorporated, programs for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, 9
and ending June 30, 2027........................... $ 3,000,000.00. 10
SECTION 2. Of the funds appropriated under the provisions of 11
Section 1 of this act, the following amounts are to be allocated 12
as follows: 13
To defray costs of Dream Impact 14
to include training, 15
staffing, purchasing 16
equipment and securing 17
transportation............................ $ 2,000,000.00 18

SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 24
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 25
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 26
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 27
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 28
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 29
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 30
and after July 1, 2026. 31
