SENATE BILL NO. 2163

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF STATE GENERAL FUNDS TO 1
YAZOO COUNTY TO DEFRAY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RENOVATION AND 2
REPAIR OF JONESTOWN PARK FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as may be 5
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State 6
General Fund to Yazoo County to defray costs associated with the 7
renovation and repair of Jonestown Park for the fiscal year 8
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027..... $ 200,000.00. 9
SECTION 2. The money appropriated in this act shall be paid 10
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 11
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 12
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his 13
warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or 14
officers in the manner provided by law. 15
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 16
and after July 1, 2026. 17
