SENATE BILL NO. 2167

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF CAPITAL EXPENSE FUNDS TO 1
THE CITY OF ROLLING FORK TO DEFRAY EXPENSES FOR THE CITY'S WATER 2
SYSTEM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Capital 6
Expense Fund to the City of Rolling Fork to defray expenses for 7
the improvement of the city's water system for the fiscal year 8
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending 9
June 30, 2027...................................... $ 1,400,000.00. 10
SECTION 2. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by 11
the State Treasurer out of any money in the State Treasury not 12
otherwise appropriated upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal 13
Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants 14
upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers 15
in the manner provided by law. 16
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 17
and after July 1, 2026. 18
