SENATE BILL NO. 2168

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PASCAGOULA-GAUTIER SCHOOL 1
DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2
EXPANSION AND UPGRADES TO ITS CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION 3
PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as may be 6
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Capital 7
Expense Fund not otherwise appropriated, to Pascagoula-Gautier 8
School District for the purpose of defraying costs associated with 9
the expansion and upgrades to its career and technical education 10
program for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending 11
June 30, 2027........................................ $ 250,000.00. 12
SECTION 2. The money appropriated in this act shall be paid 13
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the Capital Expense 14
Fund not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 15
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his 16
warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or 17
officers in the manner provided by law. 18
