AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 23-15-713, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, 1
TO AUTHORIZE EVERY DULY QUALIFIED ELECTOR TO VOTE BY ABSENTEE 2
BALLOT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. Section 23-15-713, Mississippi Code of 1972, is 5
amended as follows: 6
23-15-713. For the purpose of this subarticle, any duly 7
qualified elector may vote as provided in this subarticle * * *. 8
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 9
and after July 1, 2026. 10
