SENATE BILL NO. 2935

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MISSISSIPPI HOME 1
CORPORATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2
SMALL MUNICIPALITIES AND LIMITED POPULATION COUNTIES GRANT PROGRAM 3
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the Capital Expense 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Mississippi Home 8
Corporation for the purpose of defraying costs associated with the 9
Small Municipalities and Limited Population Counties Grant Program 10
under Sections 21-49-1 through 21-49-7 for the fiscal year 11
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.................. 12

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 14
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 15
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 16
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 17
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 18
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 19
