AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CLINTON/RAYMOND/BOLTON WASTEWATER AUTHORITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CLINTON/RAYMOND/BOLTON REGIONAL WASTEWATER PROJECT THAT WILL TRANSPORT TREATED WASTEWATER FROM THE MEMBERS' MUNICIPAL LAGOONS AND TREATMENT FACILITIES TO THE BIG BLACK RIVER FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027.

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CLINTON/RAYMOND/BOLTON 1
WASTEWATER AUTHORITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED 2
WITH CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CLINTON/RAYMOND/BOLTON 3
REGIONAL WASTEWATER PROJECT THAT WILL TRANSPORT TREATED WASTEWATER 4
FROM THE MEMBERS' MUNICIPAL LAGOONS AND TREATMENT FACILITIES TO 5
THE BIG BLACK RIVER FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 6
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 7
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 8
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 9
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Clinton/Raymond/Bolton 10
Wastewater Authority for the purpose of defraying costs associated 11
with construction and development of the Clinton/Raymond/Bolton 12
Regional Wastewater project that will transport treated wastewater 13
from the members' municipal lagoons and treatment facilities to 14
the Big Black River for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, 15
and ending June 30, 2027.......................... $ 10,000,000.00. 16
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 17
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 18
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 19
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 20

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 21
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 22
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 23
and after July 1, 2026. 24
