AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MISSISSIPPI 1
INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS 2
ASSOCIATED WITH DESIGN, CREATION, CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT OF A 3
NATURAL HAIR CARE SCHOOL IN GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE 4
FISCAL YEAR 2027. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Mississippi Institutions 9
of Higher Learning for the purpose of defraying costs associated 10
with design, creation, construction and equipment of a natural 11
hair care school in Greenville, Mississippi, for the fiscal year 12
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.................. 13

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
