AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WASHINGTON COUNTY FOR THE 1
PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CERTAIN INFRASTRUCTURE 2
PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to Washington County for the 7
purpose of defraying costs associated with certain infrastructure 8
projects for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending 9
June 30, 2027...................................... $ 7,258,020.00. 10
SECTION 2. Of the funds appropriated by Section 1 of this 11
act, the following amounts are to be allocated as follows: 12
To defray costs of improvements to 13
Broadway Road from Metcalfe 14
to the Greenville Mid-Delta 15
Airport................................... $ 1,547,410.00 16
To defray costs of improvements to 17
community parks........................... $ 1,547,410.00 18

Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 41
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 42
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 43
