SENATE BILL NO. 3004

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE WASHINGTON COUNTY BOARD 1
OF SUPERVISORS TO DEFRAY EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE REPAIR, 2
RESURFACING AND IMPROVEMENTS TO CERTAIN ROADS IN SUPERVISOR 3
DISTRICT 3 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 8
Washington County, Mississippi, to defray expenses associated with 9
the repair, resurfacing and improvements to certain roads in 10
Supervisor District 3 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, 11
and ending June 30, 2027.............................. $ 500,000.00 12
SECTION 2. Of the funds appropriated under Section 1, the 13
following amounts are to be allocated as follows: 14
Estes Street..................................... $ 150,000.00 15
Airdale Drive.................................... $ 350,000.00 16
SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 17
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 18
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 19

Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 20
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 21
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 22
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 23
and after July 1, 2026. 24
