SENATE BILL NO. 3006

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO BOLIVAR COUNTY TO DEFRAY 1
EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH REPAIRS, RESURFACING AND IMPROVEMENTS TO 2
STREETS LOCATED IN SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 1 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as may be 5
necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State 6
General Fund not otherwise appropriated, to Bolivar County to 7
defray expenses associated with repairs, resurfacing and 8
improvements to streets located in Supervisor District 1 for the 9
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 10
2027............................................... $ 1,000,000.00. 11
SECTION 2. The money appropriated in this act shall be paid 12
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 13
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 14
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his 15
warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or 16
officers in the manner provided by law. 17
