SENATE BILL NO. 3211
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CITY OF CRYSTAL 1
SPRINGS, MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS 2
ASSOCIATED WITH CERTAIN PROJECTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the City of Crystal Springs, 7
Mississippi, for the purpose of defraying costs associated with 8
certain projects for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and 9
ending June 30, 2027................................. $ 400,000.00. 10
SECTION 2. Of the funds appropriated under the provisions of 11
Section 1 of this act, the following amounts are to be allocated 12
as follows: 13
To defray costs of its city 14
hall renovations........................... $ 100,000.00. 15
To defray costs of sewer 16
treatment equipment repairs 17
and replacement............................ $ 100,000.00. 18

ST: General Fund; FY2027 appropriation to
Crystal Springs for certain projects.
To defray costs of recreation 19
equipment for city 20
parks...................................... $ 200,000.00. 21
SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 22
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 23
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 24
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 25
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 26
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 27
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 28
and after July 1, 2026. 29
