SENATE BILL NO. 3212
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOWN OF WESSON, 1
MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
ROAD REHABILITATION AND RESURFACING, THE PURCHASE OF REMOTE WATER 3
METER EQUIPMENT FOR ITS WATER SYSTEM, AND THE PURCHASE OF A POLICE 4
VEHICLE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Town of Wesson, 9
Mississippi, for the purpose of defraying costs associated with 10
road rehabilitation and resurfacing, the purchase of remote water 11
meter equipment for its water system, and the purchase of a police 12
vehicle for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending 13
June 30, 2027...................................... $ 1,340,000.00. 14
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
