AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SCENIC RIVERS 1
DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED 2
WITH SITE DEVELOPMENT, FACILITY EQUIPMENT, PARKING AND ROAD 3
IMPROVEMENTS, BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS, RIVER AND LAKE ACCESS, 4
EROSION CONTROL AND REPAIRS, UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, TRAIL 5
IMPROVEMENTS AND OTHER FACILITY RELATED UPGRADES IN FRANKLIN 6
COUNTY, WALTHALL COUNTY, PIKE COUNTY, AMITE COUNTY, AND WILKINSON 7
COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 8
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 9
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 10
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 11
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Scenic Rivers Development 12
Alliance for the purpose of defraying costs associated with site 13
development, facility equipment, parking and road improvements, 14
building improvements, river and lake access, erosion control and 15
repairs, utility improvements, trail improvements and other 16
facility related upgrades in Franklin County, Walthall County, 17
Pike County, Amite County, and Wilkinson County for the fiscal 18
year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027............. 19

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 21
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 22
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 23
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 24
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 25
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 26
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 27
and after July 1, 2026. 28
