AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS, 1
MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
UTILITY RELOCATION TO PROVIDE FOR WIDENING OF U.S. HIGHWAY 90 BY 3
THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 4
2027. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the City of Ocean Springs, 9
Mississippi, for the purpose of defraying costs associated with 10
utility relocation to provide for widening of U.S. Highway 90 by 11
the Mississippi Department of Transportation for the fiscal year 12
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.................. 13
................................................... $ 2,500,000.00. 14
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
