SENATE BILL NO. 3232
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NESHOBA COUNTY GENERAL 1
HOSPITAL FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH A 2
NURSING SCHOOL IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MISSISSIPPI UNIVERSITY FOR 3
WOMEN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Neshoba County General 8
Hospital for the purpose of defraying costs associated with a 9
nursing school in conjunction with the Mississippi University for 10
Women for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 11
30, 2027........................................... $ 4,500,000.00. 12
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 13
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 14
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 15
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 16
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 17
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 18

ST: General Fund; FY2027 appropriation to the
Neshoba County General Hospital for a nursing
school in conjunction with MUW.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 19
and after July 1, 2026. 20
