SENATE BILL NO. 3263

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOWN OF BOYLE, 1
MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH A 2
CRITICAL WATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT AND A WASTEWATER 3
INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT FOR THE EXTENSION OF SEWER LINES ALONG 4
OAKRIDGE ROAD AND MEMORIAL DRIVE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Town of Boyle, 9
Mississippi, for the purpose of defraying costs associated with a 10
critical water infrastructure project and a wastewater 11
infrastructure project for the extension of sewer lines along 12
Oakridge Road and Memorial Drive for the fiscal year beginning 13
July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.............. $ 1,050,866.00 14
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
