SENATE BILL NO. 3292
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOWN OF DREW, 1
MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
CERTAIN PROJECTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Town of Drew, Mississippi, 7
for the purpose of defraying costs associated with certain 8
projects for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending 9
June 30, 2027...................................... $ 1,163,200.00. 10
SECTION 2. Of the funds appropriated under the provisions of 11
Section 1 of this act, the following amounts are to be allocated 12
as follows: 13
To defray costs of water, sewer, 14
and utility projects and 15
purchases.................................. $ 723,900.00. 16
To defray costs of projects and 17
purchases related to the 18

ST: General Fund; FY2027 appropriation to Town
of Drew for certain projects.
Town's police department................... $ 403,800.00. 19
To defray costs of projects and 20
purchases related to the 21
town's city hall............................ $ 35,500.00. 22
SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 23
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 24
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 25
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 26
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 27
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 28
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 29
and after July 1, 2026. 30
