SENATE BILL NO. 3342
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE VILLAGE OF PITTSBORO, 1
MISSISSIPPI, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
CERTAIN INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Village of Pittsboro, 7
Mississippi, for the purpose of defraying costs associated with 8
certain infrastructure projects for the fiscal year beginning July 9
1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.................... $ 175,000.00. 10
SECTION 2. Of the funds appropriated under the provisions of 11
Section 1 of this act, the following amounts are to be allocated 12
as follows: 13
To defray costs of generator and 14
upgrades for the water 15
system...................................... $ 75,000.00. 16
To defray costs of upgrades on 17
equipment with the fire 18

ST: General Fund; FY2027 appropriation to the
Village of Pittsboro for certain infrastructure
projects.
department.................................. $ 50,000.00. 19
To defray costs of upgrades to 20
the city hall............................... $ 50,000.00. 21
SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 22
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 23
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 24
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 25
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 26
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 27
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 28
and after July 1, 2026. 29
