SENATE BILL NO. 3365
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO BLUE MOUNTAIN UNIVERSITY 1
FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH EQUIPMENT FOR 2
AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY'S NURSING PROGRAM FOR THE FISCAL 3
YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to Blue Mountain University for 8
the purpose of defraying costs associated with equipment for and 9
enhancement of the university's nursing program for the fiscal 10
year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027............. 11
..................................................... $ 250,000.00. 12
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 13
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 14
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 15
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 16
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 17
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 18

ST: General Fund; FY2027 appropriation to Blue

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 19
and after July 1, 2026. 20
