A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE JOINT RULES OF THE 1
MISSISSIPPI SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BY CREATING NEW 2
JOINT RULE 9B TO ALLOW LEGISLATORS TO COSPONSOR BILLS, JOINT 3
RESOLUTIONS AND CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS ORIGINATING IN THE OTHER 4
HOUSE OF THE LEGISLATURE. 5
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSISSIPPI STATE SENATE, THE HOUSE OF 6
REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, That the Joint Rules of the 7
Mississippi State Senate and House of Representatives are amended 8
by inserting the following new Joint Rule No. 9B to read as 9
follows: 10
9B. After a bill, joint resolution or concurrent resolution 11
has been transmitted to the house in which it did not originate, 12
and upon passage, any member of the non-originating house may be 13
added to the bill, joint resolution or concurrent resolution as a 14
cosponsor. 15
