SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 39
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING OLIVIA FAVERO FROM TAYLOR, UTAH, AS 1
MISS RODEO AMERICA 2026 AND WELCOMING HER TO MISSISSIPPI ON THE 2
OCCASION OF THE DIXIE NATIONAL LIVESTOCK AND RODEO SHOW. 3
WHEREAS, Olivia Favero was crowned Miss Rodeo America 2026 on 4
December 7, 2025, at the South Point Hotel and Casino. The 5
22-year-old Taylor, Utah, native represented her home state at the 6
Miss Rodeo America Pageant as the 2025 Miss Rodeo Utah, becoming 7
the seventh woman from her state to win the prestigious national 8
title; and 9
WHEREAS, a dedicated horsewoman and a rising leader in the 10
equine industry, Olivia embodies the spirit, grace and grit of 11
rodeo. She is a graduate of Weber State University with two 12
associate degrees and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in 13
Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and 14
Advertising. Alongside her studies, she worked at her local farm 15
store and as a cosmetologist, allowing her to build meaningful 16
connections with customers, clients and her community. Olivia 17
enjoys riding dirt bikes on mountain trails, training horses and 18

helping on her family's farm. Her deep love for agriculture, 19
horsemanship, and the Western way of life fuels her commitment to 20
preserving and promoting the traditions she holds dear; and 21
WHEREAS, in addition to capturing the Miss Rodeo America 22
crown, Olivia earned the Appearance Award and the Desiree Larson 23
Memorial Achievement Award. Along with her new title, she 24
received more than $20,000.00 in educational scholarships and 25
prizes, the opportunity to ride AQHA horses, the honor of wearing 26
the iconic Landstrom's Black Hills Gold crown, a wardrobe from 27
Wrangler, Montana Silversmiths jewelry, select Justin Boots and 28
Resistol hats, and additional gifts from other generous sponsors; 29
and 30
WHEREAS, as Miss Rodeo America 2026, Olivia will serve as the 31
official representative of the PRCA. During her reign, she will 32
travel over 40,000 miles and appear at more than 100 rodeo 33
performances, as well as attend various schools, civic groups and 34
special events across the nation. Her mission is to educate the 35
public about rodeo, its sponsors and its abundant opportunities 36
that exist within the Western industry. Olivia will also serve as 37
a spokesperson at promotional events and will model in commercial 38
advertisements for western clothiers, publications, sponsors and 39
other service providers in the Western industry; and 40
WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we welcome Miss Rodeo 41
America 2026 to the Hospitality State: 42

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF 43
MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize Olivia Favero from 44
Taylor, Utah, as Miss Rodeo America 2026 and welcome her to 45
Mississippi on the occasion of the Dixie National Livestock and 46
Rodeo Show. 47
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be presented to 48
Olivia Favero, forwarded to the Commissioner of Agriculture and 49
Commerce, and be made available to the Capitol Press Corps. 50
