SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 96
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE EUPORA HIGH 1
SCHOOL EAGLES CHEERLEADERS AND CHEER COACHES JAMIE WALKER AND 2
KRISTY TINDALL ON WINNING THE 2025 MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL 3
ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION (MHSAA) 2A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. 4
WHEREAS, on December 13, 2025, the Eupora High School Eagles 5
Cheerleading Team reigned supreme when the cheerleaders captured 6
the 2025 Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) 2A 7
Game Day Division Cheer State Championship at the Mississippi 8
Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi; and 9
WHEREAS, the Eupora Eagles' state title solidifies the 10
squad's high-performing reputation as a consistent program known 11
for its precise movements appearing effortless as the athletically 12
fit members of the team safely performed complex routines as a 13
single, cohesive unit throughout the season; and 14
WHEREAS, through the Eupora High School cheerleaders' 15
dedication and excellence in performance, members of the team have 16
demonstrated exceptional character and discipline, whether in the 17
classroom or on the sidelines or the mat, and have developed 18

unparalleled teamwork representing the highest standards of 19
sportsmanship and leadership through school spirit; and 20
WHEREAS, the extraordinary success of the Eupora High School 21
Eagles would not have been possible without the countless hours of 22
intense practice, positive attitudes and enthusiasm of each of the 23
following talented student-athletes who comprise the 2025 24
cheerleading squad: Chloe Bass, Gwendolyn Browder, Mallory 25
Collum, Gracie Dean, Caleigh Fason, Olivia Frank, Kinley Gilbert, 26
Emma Gray, Adalee Hardin, Swayze Hodges, Kinsley Huffman, Madison 27
Johnson, Brinkley Lee, Ansley Mason, Avery McCluskey, Taylor 28
Payton, Bentley Ray, Tinsley Richardson, Jamesha Rush, Cydney 29
Smith and Corinne Walker; and 30
WHEREAS, the cheerleaders have been superbly coached and 31
inspired by Cheer Coaches Jamie Walker and Kristy Tindall, who 32
together have combined their considerable talents and years of 33
experience to refine the squad's skills and precision in 34
execution; and 35
WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we recognize and honor 36
the achievements of these outstanding student-athletes, who have 37
brought honor to their families, school, community and the State 38
of Mississippi: 39
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF 40
MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate the Eupora 41
High School Eagles Cheerleaders and Cheer Coaches Jamie Walker and 42
Kristy Tindall on winning the Mississippi High School Activities 43

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be presented to 47
Cheer Coaches Jamie Walker and Kristy Tindall for the Eupora High 48
School Eagles Cheerleading Team and made available to the Capitol 49
Press Corps. 50
