AN ACT
T o amend chapter 191, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to children's access
to health care services.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 191, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 191.709, to read as follows:
191.709. 1. As used in this section, the following terms mean:
2 (1) "Health car e pr ovider", the same meaning given to the term in section
3 376.1350;
4 (2) "Health care service", the same meaning given to the term in section
5 376.1350;
6 (3) "V accination status", a child's status with rega rd to whether the child has
7 r eceived a vaccination against one or mor e diseases.
8 2. A health care pr ovider shall not re fuse, withhold fr om, or deny a minor child
9 any health care service based on the child's vaccination status.
