AN ACT
T o amend chapter 226, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the statewide
transportation improvement program.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 226, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 226.034, to read as follows:
226.034. 1. Any member of the general assembly , county commissioner , or
2 mayor of a city , town, or village who is dissatisfied with any action or decision included
3 in the statewide transportation impr ovement prog ram (STIP) may seek rev iew of such
4 action or decision by the administrative hearing commission. Such revi ew shall be
5 sought by the filing of a petition with the administrative hearing commission within
6 thirty days of the publication date of the annual STIP . If any such petition is sent by
7 r egister ed mail or certified mail, it shall be deemed filed on the date it is mailed; if it is
8 sent by any method other than regist ered mail or certified mail, it shall be deemed filed
9 on the date it is received by the commission.
10 2. The pro cedur es applicable to such hearings and determinations shall be those
11 established by chapter 536.
