AN ACT
T o amend chapter 210, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to licensed child
care facilities.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 210, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 210.253, to read as follows:
210.253. The office of childhood shall design and develop placards that include a
2 QR code that contains a link to a facility's complaint investigation and inspection
3 r eports. Complaint investigations shall appear in the sear ch res ults in a timely manner
4 clearly differ entiating such investigations fr om other inspection reports . By January 1,
5 2027, the office of childhood shall distribute such placards to all licensed child car e
6 facilities. Each facility shall post such placard in a conspicuous place, with the state
7 license, at the entrance of the facility . Inspection r eports, complaint investigations, and
8 r elated r eports shall appear for a period of thr ee years, after which a facility may
9 r equest such investigations and reports be rem oved by the department.
