AN ACT
T o amend chapter 571, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the sale of
ammunition.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 571, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 571.061, to read as follows:
571.061. No r etailer in this state shall complete a sale of ammunition unless the
2 r etailer verifies, by means of a government-issued identification that includes a
3 photograph and the date of birth of the purch aser , that the pur chaser is of a legal age to
4 pur chase the ammunition under federal law .
