AN ACT
T o amend chapter 195, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the over -the-
counter purchase of certain medications, with an emer gency clause.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 195, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 195.1000, to read as follows:
195.1000. Notwithstanding any other pr ovision of law , ivermectin tablets and
2 hydr oxychlor oquine tablets shall be available to the public thr ough over -the-counter
3 pur chase in this state without a prescrip tion or consultation with a pharmacist or other
4 health car e pr ofessional.
Section B. Because immediate action is necessary to ensure the public has adequate
2 access to ivermectin tablets and hydroxychloroquine tablets, section A of this act is deemed
3 necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, welfare, peace, and safety , and
4 is hereby declared to be an emer gency act within the meaning of the constitution, and section
5 A of this act shall be in full force and ef fect upon its passage and approval.
