AN ACT
T o amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to brain aneurysm
awareness month.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 9.412, to read as follows:
9.412. The month of September each year is her eby designated as "Brain
2 Aneurysm A waren ess Month" in Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to
3 participate in appr opriate events and activities to raise awaren ess about the causes of
4 and tr eatments for brain aneurysms, which affect nearly two hundr ed thousand people
5 each year .
