AN ACT
T o amend chapter 1, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the use of state
funds for civil immigration detention.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 1, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 1.2080, to read as follows:
1.2080. Except as pr ovided by a specific appr opriation line item, no state agency
2 shall expend any funds appr opriated by the state to:
3 (1) Lease, build, or r etro fit facilities for civil immigration detention; or
4 (2) Contract to pr ovide ongoing facility operations including, but not limited to,
5 food, medical, or security functions for civil immigration detainees.

7 This section shall not be construed to limit or otherwise interfer e with information-
8 sharing requ irem ents of section 67.307 or federal law .
