AN ACT
T o amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to John Goodman
day .
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 9.414, to read as follows:
9.414. June twentieth each year is her eby designated as "John Goodman day" in
2 Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to participate in appr opriate events
3 and activities to honor the many accomplishments of the acclaimed actor , born in
4 Affton, Missouri, in 1952.
