AN ACT
T o amend chapter 10, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the state mammal.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 10, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 10.283, to read as follows:
10.283. The raccoon, scientifically designated as Procyon lotor, is selected for and
2 shall be known as the official mammal for the state of Missouri.
