AN ACT
T o amend chapter 21, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to educational
materials created by the general assembly .
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 21, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be
2 known as section 21.1070, to read as follows:
21.1070. 1. The general assembly shall creat e educational materials for use in
2 educating children about the legislative pr ocess in Missouri and how such pro cess is
3 shaped by the United States Constitution, the Constitution of Missouri, and federal and
4 state law .
5 2. Educational materials under subsection 1 of this section may include, but shall
6 not be limited to, real world experiences, publications, reas onable accommodations for
7 place-based learning, opportunities for civic engagement, and digital r esources .
