AN ACT
Relating to the designation of the Kansas City Chiefs as the of ficial professional football team
of the state of Missouri.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
WHEREAS, Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 4, passed by the One Hundredth
2 General Assembly , First Regular Session, designated the Kansas City Chiefs as the of ficial
3 professional football team of the state of Missouri; and

5 WHEREAS, the Kansas City Chiefs have publicly announced their intent to relocate
6 all operations to the state of Kansas:

8 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED that the members of the House of
9 Representatives of the One Hundred Third General Assembly , Second Regular Session, the
10 Senate concurring therein, hereby repeal Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 4 from the One
11 Hundredth General Assembly , First Regular Session, and no longer recognize the Kansas City
12 Chiefs as the of ficial professional football team of the state of Missouri; and

14 BE IT FUR THER RESOL VED that the Chief Clerk of the Missouri House of
15 Representatives be instructed to prepare a properly inscribed copy of this resolution for the
16 Governor for his approval or rejection pursuant to the Constitution of Missouri.
