WHEREAS, the W omen Legislators of Missouri Caucus sponsors the annual
2 DeV erne Lee Calloway A ward, in honor of the first African-American member of the
3 Missouri General Assembly , to recognize outstanding female leaders in Missouri; and

5 WHEREAS, the W omen Legislators of Missouri Caucus sponsors the W omen
6 Legislators of Missouri Scholarship to recognize exceptional high school seniors on the basis
7 of leadership, academics, and community service; and
8
9 WHEREAS, the W omen Legislators of Missouri DeV erne Lee Calloway A ward
10 Ceremony and Scholarship Presentation will be held on Monday , April 13, 2026, in the
11 Missouri State Capitol to recognize the recipient of the 2026 DeV erne Lee Calloway A ward
12 and to recognize the young women who are recipients of the 2026 W omen Legislators of
13 Missouri Scholarship award:

15 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED that we, the members of the Missouri
16 House of Representatives, One Hundred Third General Assembly , grant the W omen
17 Legislators of Missouri Caucus use of the House Chamber on Monday , April 13, 2026, from
18 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to recognize the 2026 DeV erne Lee Calloway A ward recipient and the
19 2026 scholarship recipients.

21 BE IT FUR THER RESOL VED that the sponsor of this House Resolution,
22 Representative Pattie Mansur , or her designee, shall be present in the House Chamber and
23 shall assume responsibility for the group's actions for the duration of the aforementioned
24 event.

26 Special note: Participants in the aforementioned event shall conduct themselves in a manner
27 that preserves the dignity and honor of the House of Representatives. Such persons shall
28 behave respectfully and dress appropriately for the occasion. Food items, drinks, and
29 smoking are prohibited on the floor of the House and lower gallery , and participants shall
30 refrain from any conduct that diminishes the decorum of the House Chamber .
31 Access to the dais is limited to the Speaker's podium for purposes of using the
32 microphone to speak to those assembled. Access to the staff area behind the rostrum is
33 prohibited.
34 Group photographs; the hanging of any banners or other items on the walls, curtains,
35 or any surface within the House Chamber; and the use of any equipment, including
36 computers, phones, or other items on the dais and rostrum area, are also prohibited.
