WHEREAS, the Missouri House of Representatives recognizes the importance of
2 empowering citizens to actively participate in the democratic process; and

4 WHEREAS, the Missouri House of Representatives has a long tradition of rendering
5 assistance to those or ganizations that sponsor projects in the interest of good citizenship:

7 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED that we, the members of the Missouri
8 House of Representatives, One Hundred Third General Assembly , hereby grant the Jeffers on
9 City Chapter of the Federalist Society permission to use the House Chamber on Friday ,
10 February 20, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and

12 BE IT FUR THER RESOL VED that the sponsor of this House Resolution,
13 Representative Alex Riley , or his designee, shall be present in the House Chamber and shall
14 assume responsibility for the group's actions for the duration of the aforementioned event.

16 Special note: Participants in the aforementioned event shall conduct themselves in a manner
17 that preserves the dignity and honor of the House of Representatives. Such persons shall
18 behave respectfully and dress appropriately for the occasion. Food items, drinks, and
19 smoking are prohibited on the floor of the House and lower gallery , and participants shall
20 refrain from any conduct that diminishes the decorum of the House Chamber .
21 Access to the dais is limited to the Speaker's podium for purposes of using the
22 microphone to speak to those assembled. Access to the staff area behind the rostrum is
23 prohibited.
24 Group photographs; the hanging of any banners or other items on the walls, curtains,
25 or any surface within the House Chamber; and the use of any equipment, including
26 computers, phones, or other items on the dais and rostrum area, are also prohibited.
