AN ACT
To repeal section 192.2410, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the
elder abuse and neglect hotline.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Section 192.2410, RSMo, is repealed and one 1
new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 2
192.2410, to read as follows:3
192.2410. 1. A report made under section 192.2405 1
shall be made orally or in writing. It shall include, if 2
known: 3
(1) The name, age, and address of the eligible adult; 4
(2) The name and address of any person responsible for 5
care of the eligible adult; 6
(3) The nature and extent of the condition of the 7
eligible adult; and 8
(4) Other relevant information. 9
2. Reports regarding persons determined not to be 10
eligible adults as defined in section 192.2400 shall be 11
referred to the appropriate state or local authorities. 12
3. The department shall maintain a statewide toll-free 13
phone number for receipt of reports and shall operate the 14
hotline continuously for twenty-four hours a day, seven days 15
a week. 16
