AN ACT
To amend chapter 1, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to exempting the state of
Missouri from the observance of daylight saving time, with an effective date.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 1, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto 1
one new section, to be known as section 1.355, to read as 2
follows:3
1.355. 1. The state of Missouri shall be exempt from 1
the advancement of the time provision known as Daylight 2
Saving Time as provided in 15 U.S.C. Section 260a. 3
2. The state of Missouri and its political 4
subdivisions shall at all times observe the standard time of 5
the United States as provided in 15 U.S.C. Sections 261 to 6
263. 7
Section B. The provisions of section A of this act 1
shall be effective on November 1, 2026. 2
