The following summaries of this bill are available: Print All Summaries Introduced Print SB 1113 - This act requires health benefit plans to provide coverage for genetic testing and genetic counseling, as defined in the act, of individuals who are at increased risk of potentially harmful mutations to their genes due to a personal or family history of cancer. The act prohibits insurers from using these tests and counseling in underwriting decisions such as calculating premiums or determining coverage, and prohibits insurers from imposing cost-sharing with regard to the required coverage. This act is substantially similar to SB 824 (2025) and HB 1080 (2025), and similar to SB 406 (2025), SB 1047 (2024), and HB 2394 (2024). TAYLOR MIDDLETON
