AN ACT
To amend chapter 138, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to property taxes.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 138, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto 1
one new section, to be known as section 138.195, to read as 2
follows:3
138.195. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the 1
contrary, in any ratio study in which the commission 2
evaluates the assessment ratios of the various counties, the 3
commission shall require that no county's ratio of assessed 4
values is greater than one. 5
