The following summaries of this bill are available: Print All Summaries Introduced Print SB 1446 - Current law provides that the Governor shall, without delay, issue a writ of election to fill any vacancy in the General Assembly upon receipt of any resignation or notice of vacancy, or if satisfied of the death of any member of either house, during the recess. This act requires such special election to be held at least fifty days but not more than six months after receipt of the resignation or notice of vacancy. SCOTT SVAGERA
