AN ACT
To repeal section 116.210, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the
numbering of proposed constitutional amendments.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Section 116.210, RSMo, is repealed and one new 1
section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 116.210, 2
to read as follows:3
116.210. The secretary of state shall number proposed 1
constitutional amendments in the order in which they are 2
passed by the general assembly, or submitted by initiative 3
petition, or adopted by constitutional convention. He shall 4
number the first as "Constitutional Amendment No. 1" and so 5
on consecutively. A new series of numbers shall be started 6
after each general election that occurs in years ending in 7
eight. 8
