AN ACT
To amend chapter 67, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the contract bidding
process of political subdivisions, with penalty provisions.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 67, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto 1
one new section, to be known as section 67.107, to read as 2
follows:3
67.107. 1. A city, town, village, county, or other 1
political subdivision shall not take into account, or give 2
preference to any person or entity, based on race, color, 3
religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual 4
orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran 5
status, or familial status when awarding contracts. 6
2. Any person who intentionally or knowingly violates 7
this section shall be subject to a fine of one hundred 8
thousand dollars. 9
